Using a gift-card balance (and paying the difference)

A cash-value gift card works like a balance. The cost of an experience comes off that balance, and you can use whatever is left on another booking until it runs out.

If the experience costs more than your remaining balance, you pay the difference — and the timing matters. When you ask for a time, we put the difference on hold on your card: nothing is taken yet, and your balance is still yours. When the venue confirms, the difference is taken and the balance is applied. If the venue can't take that time, the hold is released and your balance is untouched — you've paid nothing.

You'll always see the breakdown before you confirm: what the experience costs, what your balance covers, and what you'd pay.
