How does booking work?

After you redeem, you choose your experience and ask for a date and time. The times you see are the times we can ask for — not times we already know are free.

Your request goes to the venue, and we'll come back to you, usually within 24 hours. Nothing is booked until the venue has said yes. If we're still waiting, we'll tell you rather than leave you guessing.

Your booking moves through two stages: Requested, then Confirmed. When it's confirmed you'll get the address, directions and a calendar file.

If the venue can't take that time, we'll come back with a few alternatives — pick one and we'll ask again.

Your gift isn't spent while you wait. It's only used once a booking is confirmed, so a "no" from the venue costs you nothing. You can have one open request at a time on a gift; once it's answered you're free to ask for another date.
